Will there be visible scars after otoplasty?
Incisions are made behind the ear in a natural fold; once healed, they are usually very inconspicuous.
Is the procedure painful?
It is performed under local anesthesia. After the procedure, mild pressure or sensitivity may be felt, which is generally manageable.
When can I return to work or school?
Light activities are usually possible after a few days. After suture removal, a return to normal activities is typically allowed.
How long should I wear a headband?
Usually 1–2 weeks at night (for otoplasty, follow the doctor’s recommendation).
Do you also treat earlobes torn by earrings?
Yes, earlobe suturing is a quick outpatient procedure with fine stitching and a fast recovery.
