Is a preoperative examination necessary?
Yes. It is an essential requirement for undergoing a surgical procedure and ensures the safety of the patient.
How long before the surgery is the examination performed?
Usually several days to weeks before the procedure, depending on its type and the doctor’s recommendation.
Do I need a referral from my general practitioner?
No. The examination is conducted directly at Renomé Clinic without the need for a referral.
What if I have a chronic condition or take long-term medication?
The physician will take these factors into account and, if necessary, adjust the preoperative preparation or recommend additional tests.
